Yesterday, the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital Vice President in charge of liaison with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and law enforcement agencies, Oleksandr Hahayev, met with Anti-Terrorist Operation Commander Lt. Gen. Oleksandr Lokota. During the meeting, Hahayev answered the Commander’s question on activities of the PFVMH medical evacuation group. The procedure for executing documents that legalize presence of medevac team personnel in the places of military units location was discussed and adjusted.
“Such meetings have already become a tradition and have a consultative and advisory character,” Oleksandr Hahayev reported. “I was much pleased to hear from Mister General his personal warm feedback on work of volunteer medics at the front. In particular, it was a pleasure to hear certain warm words also about the work organization and work itself of the PFVMH medevac teams.”
He also especially thanked Oleksandr Lokota for his “assistance in promptly straightening out the bureaucratic tangle and support of medical volunteer movement.”
“We continue our collaboration with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the tradition of personal collaboration with the military leadership,” Hahayev added.
