Preliminary results of PFVMH/UNFPA project: 2,000 people surveyed in 2 months, two hospitals received modern gynecological equipment (UPDATED)
According to preliminary data, 2,000 people, including 500 children, were examined under the two-month Sexual & Reproductive Health project jointly implemented by the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in three Luhansk Oblast’s districts, a PFVMH executive reported today.

“Personnel famine” – before PFVMH medics came, nobody has seen an oculist in Bilokurakyne for 10 years
In Bilokurakyne, Luhansk Oblast, local patients are examined and treated by three specialists of the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital: surgeon, oculist and traumatologist. Twice a week through July, the volunteer medic will also go to distant villages in the district, the Luhansk Oblast State Television & Radio Company reported.

ATO HQ orders to involve PFVMH June mission’s medics in Anti-Terrorist Operation
After a month delay, the Anti-Terrorist Operation command has issued an order to include medics of the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital, who participated in the June mission of the hospital’s evacuation teams, in the ATO forces and facilities, the PFVMH reported.
